Intrahepatic and subcapsular hematomas are described as complications of percutaneous liver biopsy. Even though, its incidence is not clearly established. Through this study we try to set which is the real incidence of this complication in our medium. To comply with this, we control our patients by ultrasonography before, after, and even seven days after procedure has been carried out.

The limited replicative potential of primary hepatocytes (Hep) is a major hurdle for obtaining sufficient quantity and quality hepatocytes during cell therapy in patients with liver failure. Intrahepatic cholangiocyte organoids (ICOs) derived from intrahepatic bile ducts differentiate into both hepatocytes and cholangiocytes . Here, we studied effects of transplanting ICOs and Hep in chronic liver injury mice models.

Introduction Anatomical hepatectomy for segment 7 (S7) lesions is technically challenging due to their restricted accessibility and close proximity to the right hepatic vein, and the robotic approach for this challenging situation is currently not supported by conclusive data. Methods We present our novel technique of robotic anatomical hepatectomy for S7 lesions utilizing the saline-linked cautery (SLiC) method. Between 2022 and 2023, 10 robotic S7 subsectionectomy or right posterior sectionectomy were performed and included in the current study.
