Influence of proteins from the Agkistrodon blomhoffii ussuriensis snake venom on platelet activation and aggregation was developed on different model systems in vitro. It was shown that novel disintegrin (Blomus-B) and phospholipase A2 (Blopholipase) from the venom, activated platelets and inhibited their aggregation. Fibrino(geno)lityc enzyme (Blomulyse) does not activate platelets and has no effect on their aggregation stimulated by collagen, but inhibit ADP and adrenalin-stimulated platelet aggregation. Thrombin-like enzyme (Ancistron-Bu) activates platelets but has no effect on their aggregation. Obtained proteins can be used under development of new antiplatelet agents and as instruments for detailed elaboration and deep investigation of processes which proceed with participation of platelets.

Integrins are heterodimers composed of two subunits, α(120-185kD) and β (90-110kD), which mediate the connection between cells and their external environment, such as extracellular matrix (ECM), and play an important role in the regulation of cell shape, proliferation and migration. Herein, we identified a potent anti-tumor migration peptide Accutin from crude venom of Agkistrodon acutus using an A549 3D tumor sphere model, and simulation tools and RNA sequencing were performed to reveal the mechanism of Accutin. Accutin is a disintegrin and docking, molecular dynamics simulations and ITC assay indicate that the RGD motif in the Accutin sequence can stably bind to integrins α5β1.

The objective of this study was to explore the real-world incidence, severity, clinical features, and potential risk factors associated with hypofibrinogenemia induced by hemocoagulase. Based on Chinese Hospital Pharmacovigilance System, a retrospective case-control study was conducted, enrolling hospitalized patients who received hemocoagulase for the treatment or prevention of hemorrhage in Weifang People's Hospital in China from January 2021 to May 2022. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression was performed to analyze the potential risk factors.
