Background: Two scientific and clinical challenges for treating cannabis use disorder (CUD) are developing efficacious treatments with high likelihood of uptake and scalability, and testing the clinical mechanisms by which treatments work. Because young adults experience more CUD than other age groups, a need exists to test the efficacy and hypothesized causal pathways of novel treatments for CUD. Background: Recommendations from a trusted healthcare provider have been shown to be the most effective intervention for encouraging patients to be vaccinated. However, providers have reported feeling less prepared to address vaccination questions and having less time to discuss vaccines with patients than before the COVID-19 pandemic. Providers may benefit from a brief update about the available influenza vaccines and vaccination guidelines.

Introduction: To understand the attitudes, beliefs, knowledge, and access to care surrounding sun safety for a primarily homeless or underinsured patient population at a student-run health clinic.

Methods: All adult attendees at the health clinic were invited to complete an anonymous 16-item questionnaire that assessed their sun safety history, practices, knowledge, and beliefs.

Results: Fifty participants completed our questionnaire, with 35 individuals (70%) reporting that they were without permanent residence, and 21 individuals indicating that they were uninsured or using Medicaid (42%).

Ventricular assist device (VAD) and cardiac transplant patients experience significant strain on their physical and mental wellbeing postoperatively. Mental health and substance use disorders (MHDs and SUDs) have substantial effects on the quality of life and compliance of transplant and VAD patients. In this study, we compare and characterize MHDs and SUDs between VAD and cardiac allograft patients and transplant list patients with and without VADs.

Objectives: This study investigates sperm utilization and disposal patterns in Oligoasthenoteratozoospermia (OAT) patients undergoing long-term sperm storage. OAT is a major contributor to male infertility. Cryopreservation is a common practice as a "fertility insurance" in case of further deterioration until azoospermia.
