Purpose: To explore possible pathogenic genes for concomitant exotropia using whole-exome sequencing.
Methods: In this study, 47 individuals from 10 concomitant exotropia (including intermittent exotropia and constant exotropia) pedigrees were enrolled. Whole-exome sequencing was used to screen mutational profiles in 25 affected individuals and 10 unaffected individuals.

Purpose: Our study presents a virtual reality-based tangent screen test (VTS) to measure subjective ocular deviations including torsion in nine directions of gaze. The test was compared to the analogous Harms tangent screen test (HTS).
Methods: We used an Oculus Go controller and head-mounted-display with rotation sensors to measure patient's head orientation for the VTS.

Background: acquired exotropia mostly manifests as an intermittent form, and very few cases show constant exotrpia. However, the differences in the clinical features of the constant and intermittent exotropia patients has not been clear yet.
Methods: We retrospectively evaluated 6159 patients with exotropia from 2012 to 2022 in Farabi Eye Hospital, Tehran, Iran.

Background And Purpose: The dorsolateral portion of the caudal pons contains the vestibular nucleus (VN) and inferior cerebellar peduncle (ICP) that play important roles in conveying and processing vestibular and ocular motor signals. This study aimed to characterize ocular motor abnormalities along with their anatomical correlations in dorsolateral pons (DLP) lesions.
Methods: We analyzed clinical features, and results of neuro-otological evaluations and neuroimaging of 18 patients with unilateral DLP lesions (17 with DLP infarction and 1 with cavernous malformation) from among 506 patients with pontine infarction in a stroke registry.
