The gut microbiota influences the reactivity of the immune system, and has emerged as an anti-inflammatory commensal. Here, we investigated whether its lysate could prevent severe forms of neuroinflammation in experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) in mice and how this preventive strategy affects the gut microbiota and immune response. Lysate of anaerobically cultured (Pd lysate) was orally administered to C57BL/6 mice in four weekly doses.

Melanoma, recognized as one of the most aggressive forms of skin cancer, continues to show a steady rise in global incidence. While Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) has been identified as a potential intralesional therapy for melanoma, its therapeutic efficacy remains suboptimal. This study introduces a novel thermosensitive hydrogel formulated with BCG lysates and either OVA peptide or tumor cell lysates (PPP-BCG-OVA/TL).

The extraction of these distance restraints from PD-EPR experiments relies on manipulation of spin-spin pairs. The orthogonal spin labeling approach offers unique advantages by providing multiple distances between different spin-spin pairs.
