The emergence of multidrug-resistant (MDR) Raoultella isolates is linked to the acquisition of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) with plasmids playing a pivotal role in this process. While plasmid-mediated transmission of ARGs in Raoultella has been extensively reported, limited attention has been given to genetically dissecting the modular structures of plasmids. This study aims to elucidate the genomic features of novel incompatible plasmids in MDR Raoultella by presenting 13 complete plasmid sequences from four isolates, along with an analysis of 16 related plasmids from GenBank.

L-transposition of the great arteries (L-TGA) represents a spectrum of congenital heart defects (CHD) associated with atrioventricular block (AVB). However, the incidence and prognosis of postoperative AVB among patients with variants of L-TGA is uncertain. Background: Short-term improvements in quality of life (QOL) have been reported in adult congenital heart disease patients with systemic right ventricle (sRV) failure after treatment with sacubitril/valsartan. This study aimed to evaluate the medium-term QOL changes in sRV failure patients treated with sacubitril/valsartan.
Methods: In this single-centre, prospective cohort study, patients with symptomatic sRV failure completed the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research/Academic Hospital Leiden Questionnaire for Adult's Health-Related Quality of Life (TAAQOL) at baseline and after starting treatment with sacubitril/valsartan.

Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy and complications of simplified graded inferior oblique anterior transposition (IOAT) in treating at least 10 PD vertical deviation in the primary position and inferior oblique muscle overaction (IOOA).
Methods: This retrospective study reviewed the medical records of 65 patients treated with simplified graded IOAT procedures for both vertical deviation and IOOA. Patients were grouped according to vertical deviation in the primary position.

Objective: Cubital tunnel syndrome is a common peripheral neuropathy of the upper extremity. Anterior transposition of the ulnar nerve is an established surgical treatment option for this condition. This study aimed to introduce a novel musculofascial lengthening technique that uses only a portion of the flexor-pronator muscle mass for submuscular anterior transposition of the ulnar nerve and investigate its clinical outcomes.
