Background: Surgery for tumors in the cerebellopontine angle is always a significant challenge due to the densely packed neurovascular structures, the narrow deep location, and the complex relationship between the lesions and surrounding neurovascular structures. Background: A mnemonic is a cognitive aid frequently used in health-related education. The main goal of this study was to develop and test a 5-finger mnemonic for teaching schoolchildren the theoretical aspects of adult Basic Life Support (BLS) steps, a process rarely described in the context of instructing laypersons.

Purposes: The objective of this study was to investigate intra-articular distal radius fractures, aiming to provide a comprehensive analysis of fracture patterns and discuss the corresponding treatment strategies for each pattern.

Traumatic brachial plexus lesions (TBPL) can lead to permanent impairment of hand function despite timely brachial plexus surgical treatment. In selected cases with no recovery of hand function, the affected forearm can be amputated and replaced by a bionic hand to regain prehensile function. This cross-sectional study aimed to assess (sub)cortical motor activity and functional connectivity changes after TBPL and bionic reconstruction.

Background: Musculoskeletal ultrasonography of the hand and wrist is becoming the trend in assessing and diagnosing most hand and wrist injuries, soft-tissue mass, and occult fractures. Its advantages include ultra-high frequency probes, noninvasiveness, cost-effectiveness, lack of ionising radiation, and portability. The patients are comfortable doing this procedure in the outpatient department, and visualising the ultrasound images increases their confidence.
