In recent years, an increasing number of publications on the analysis of binary data have applied methods that take misclassification into account. However, potential misclassification is often ignored in study design due to the lack of sample size formulas or software. This may lead to a considerable loss of power in studies that only account for misclassification at the analysis stage.

Most antibiotics administered via intermittent IV infusion are diluted in 50 to 100 ml of diluent. The primary infusion set for the BD Alaris pumps can hold 25 ml of volume in its tubing, potentially contributing up to a 50% drug loss if residual volume is present after administration is complete. In the case of antibiotics, this may lead to significant underdosing, potentially contributing to reduced therapeutic response and emergence of antimicrobial resistance.

Charge-trap synaptic device with polycrystalline silicon channel for low power in-memory computing.

Sci Rep

Division of Electronic and Semiconductor Engineering, Ewha Womans University, Seoul, 03760, Republic of Korea.

Processing-in-memory (PIM) is gaining tremendous research and commercial interest because of its potential to replace the von Neumann bottleneck in current computing architectures. In this study, we implemented a PIM hardware architecture (circuit) based on the charge-trap flash (CTF) as a synaptic device. The PIM circuit with a CT memory performed exceedingly well by reducing the inference energy in the synapse array.
