Background: How gait changes during the early stages of stoke rehabilitation, and which patient characteristics are associated with these changes is still largely unknown.
Objective: he first objective was to describe the changes in gait during stroke rehabilitation. Secondly, we determined how various patient characteristics were associated with the rate of change of gait over time.

Background: Opioid-related fatal overdoses are occurring at historically high levels and increasing each year. Accessible social and financial support are imperative to the initiation and success of treatment for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) offer effective treatment but there are many more people with untreated OUD than receiving evidence-based medication.

Citizen Science initiatives have a worldwide impact on environmental research by providing data at a global scale and high resolution. Mapping marine biodiversity remains a key challenge to which citizen initiatives can contribute. Here we describe a dataset made of both underwater and aerial imagery collected in shallow tropical coastal areas by using various low cost platforms operated either by citizens or researchers.

Alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT) deficiency (AATD) is a monogenic disease caused by misfolding of AAT variants resulting in gain-of-toxic aggregation in the liver and loss of monomer activity in the lung leading to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Using high-throughput screening, we discovered a bioactive natural product, phenethyl isothiocyanate (PEITC), highly enriched in cruciferous vegetables, including watercress and broccoli, which improves the level of monomer secretion and neutrophil elastase (NE) inhibitory activity of AAT-Z through the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) redox sensor protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) A4 (PDIA4). The intracellular polymer burden of AAT-Z can be managed by combination treatment of PEITC and an autophagy activator.

Accurate prediction and causal analysis of road crashes are crucial for improving road safety. One critical indicator of road crash severity is whether the involved vehicles require towing. Despite its importance, limited research has utilized this factor for predicting vehicle towing probability and analyzing its causal factors.
