Several issues surface when one considers the task of unpacking health disparities and examining features of health care systems that influence patient access, utilization, and outcomes. Although progress has been made in the collection of language data across healthcare systems, little attention has been devoted to examining how a patient's English proficiency and the need for interpretation services are being determined, and how this information is communicated to providers. A lack of a standardized approach to these system-based processes exposes potential limitations in the ability of systems and providers to effectively coordinate care that meets patients' needs and minimizes disparate outcomes. Attention must be given to standardizing these processes to ensure safe, patient-centered care and enable meaningful analyses of access, utilization, and outcomes across linguistically diverse populations. Nurses play a key role in developing and evaluating information systems with which accurate and reliable data can be collected, documented, retrieved, and utilized.

Intro: The article tests the hypothesis that we can draw practical knowledge from the experience of service providers operating in the past. The research questions were formulated: can the historical example of the organization of medical care in the Polish Children's Hospital named after Karol and Maria be used as a viable example today? Is it relevant for contemporary practitioners? And do we still use the knowledge of predecessors? The authors decided to use the interwar Hospital and an operating paediatric ward of the Child-Friendly Hospital for a comparative analysis.
Methods: The model of the European Regional Office of the World Health Organization for integrated delivery of health services was adopted as the analysis framework.

Globally, the prevalence of coronary artery disease (CAD) is increasing, accounting for a third of all deaths worldwide including myocardial infarctions (MIs) which represent the most severe clinical manifestation of CAD and are among the most dangerous coronary events. Therefore, this study aims to assess the knowledge of symptoms and risk factors of MIs, as well as attitudes and beliefs regarding MIs and confidence in recognizing CAD symptoms in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. A cross-sectional study was conducted among individuals living in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia between November 2023 and April 2024 to assess their knowledge and beliefs about CAD and MIs.

This study assessed the factors militating against the effective implementation of electronic health records (EHR) in Nigeria, the computerization of patients' health records with a lot of benefits including improved patients' satisfaction, improved care processes, reduction of patients' waiting time, and medication errors. Despite these benefits, healthcare organizations are slow to adopt the EHR system. Therefore, the study assessed the factors militating against the effective implementation of the EHR system, the level of awareness of EHR, and the utilization of electronic health records; it also investigated the factors militating against the effective implementation of EHR.
