Background: Recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) have changed the care processes in mental health, particularly in decision-making support for health care professionals and individuals with mental health problems. AI systems provide support in several domains of mental health, including early detection, diagnostics, treatment, and self-care. The use of AI systems in care flows faces several challenges in relation to decision-making support, stemming from technology, end-user, and organizational perspectives with the AI disruption of care processes.

The combination of ultralong-acting neuromuscular block and subsequent on-demand rapid reversal may provide prolonged surgeries with improved conditions by omitting continuous or repetitive blocker administration, enabling a more stable and predictable hemodynamic profile and eliminating residual block. For this target, we prepared 19 imidazolium-incorporated tetracationic macrocycles. In vivo studies with rats revealed that one macrocycle (IMC-14) displays extremely high blocking activity.

The identification of potential effective drug candidates is a fundamental step in new drug discovery, with profound implications for pharmaceutical research and the healthcare sector. While many computational methods have been developed for such predictions and have yielded promising results, two challenges persist: (i) The cold start problem of new drugs, which increases the difficulty of prediction due to lack of historical data or prior knowledge. (ii) The vastness of the compound search space for potential drug candidates.

This review is focused on the research, innovation and technological breakthroughs on marine invertebrate collagens and their applications. The findings reveal that research dates back to the 1970s, and after a period of reduced activity, interest in collagens from several marine invertebrate groups was renewed around 2008, likely driven by the increased commercial interest in these biomolecules of marine origin. Research and development are predominantly reported from China and Japan, highlighting significant research interest in cnidarians (jellyfish), echinoderms (sea cucumbers, sea urchins and starfish), molluscs (squid and cuttlefish) and sponges.
