We show that spectacular spectral changes take place in the vicinity of the dark rings of the Airy pattern formed with spatially coherent, polychromatic light diffracted at a circular aperture.

Waterfalls are anomalies in the angle-resolved photoemission spectrum where the energy-momentum dispersion is almost vertical, and the spectrum strongly smeared out. These anomalies are observed at relatively high energies, among others, in superconducting cuprates and nickelates. The prevalent understanding is that they originate from the coupling to some boson, with spin fluctuations and phonons being the usual suspects.

Neuroimaging techniques including functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and electroencephalogram (EEG) have shown promise in detecting functional abnormalities in various brain disorders. However, existing studies often focus on a single domain or modality, neglecting the valuable complementary information offered by multiple domains from both fMRI and EEG, which is crucial for a comprehensive representation of disorder pathology. This limitation poses a challenge in effectively leveraging the synergistic information derived from these modalities.

Purpose: We describe a case of non-traumatic macular hole in a pediatric patient associated with numerous epiretinal lesions throughout the macula.
Methods: A healthy 9-year-old girl presented to retina clinic with several months of blurry vision in the right eye. Clinically, there was a full-thickness macular hole with serous detachment and white epiretinal tufts.
Introduction: Although the widespread use of screening tests and HPV vaccines for squamous cell carcinoma has led to early detection and treatment, effectiveness is limited for cervical adenocarcinoma. Lobular endocervical glandular hyperplasia (LEGH) corresponds to gastric metaplasia, but is regarded as a pathological condition with subtle morphological abnormalities. LEGH is a benign lesion and a precursor to gastric-type adenocarcinoma.

Hyperspectral anomaly detection (HAD) aims to localize pixel points whose spectral features differ from the background. HAD is essential in scenarios of unknown or camouflaged target features, such as water quality monitoring, crop growth monitoring and camouflaged target detection, where prior information of targets is difficult to obtain. Existing HAD methods aim to objectively detect and distinguish background and anomalous spectra, which can be achieved almost effortlessly by human perception.
