Background: The World Health Organisation (WHO) developed a comprehensive framework encouraging an integrated approach to achieve triple elimination of vertical transmission of HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis B in Asia. Current screening practices in Nepal show significantly lower coverage for syphilis and hepatitis B compared to HIV suggesting potential for integration. In this study, we aimed to model the cost-effectiveness of triple screening during antenatal care in Nepal.

Background: Since national essential medicine lists guide the procurement of medicines for populations in many countries, and cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death globally, including cardiovascular medicines on these lists can significantly impact healthcare outcomes.
Methods: In this cross-sectional study, national essential medicines' lists from 158 countries were analysed on whether or not they included medicines to treat ischemic heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, and hypertensive heart disease. A linear regression model was used to evaluate the association between countries' coverage scores and amenable mortality.

The costs of providing an essential benefit package of maternal and child health (MCH) services are unknown. Such information is required for optimal resource allocation decisions and for replicating similar programmes in different settings.

In existing coverage challenges within wireless sensor networks, traditional sensor perception models often fail to accurately represent the true transmission characteristics of wireless signals. In more complex application scenarios such as warehousing, residential areas, etc., this may lead to a large gap between the expected effect of actual coverage and simulated coverage.

Background: The optimal anastomotic configuration for right-sided colectomies remains controversial, with comparable postoperative outcomes across techniques. Thus, economic considerations may play a larger role in decision-making within cost-constrained healthcare settings.
Methods: This retrospective cohort study evaluated right-sided colectomies with ileocolic anastomosis at a Swiss tertiary center between 2016 and 2021.
