Constructed wetlands (CWs) with low carbon properties represented an effective approach for treating low-polluted water and improving water quality. Here, a research scheme was proposed to achieve maximum operation benefits of the large-scale CWs through parameter identification, operation simulation, evaluation, and analysis of the water quality process. Based on the two-dimensional water hydrodynamic model coupling with the Eco-Lab water quality module (with nutrients), simulation for Bagong hybrid CWs was successfully conducted.

As an effective approach to mitigating urban environmental issues, New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) have become a focal point of research regarding their current development status and future prospects in China. Addressing the significant disparities in the development of the NEVs industry across different cities, this study focuses on ten typical Chinese cities and develops a novel multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) framework to evaluate the prospects of NEVs promotion in these cities. To enhance plant biomass production under low nitrogen conditions, we employed a method to artificially and temporarily accumulate the bacterial second messenger, guanosine tetraphosphate (ppGpp), to modify plastidial or mitochondrial metabolism. Specifically, we fused a chloroplast or mitochondrial transit-peptide to the N-terminus of the bacterial ppGpp synthase YjbM, which was conditionally expressed by an estrogen-inducible promoter in . The resulting recombinant plants exhibited estrogen-dependent ppGpp accumulation in chloroplasts or mitochondria and showed reduced fresh weight compared to wild type (WT) plants when grown on agar-solidified plates containing a certain amount of estrogen.
