In May 2022, we challenged our colleagues to evaluate their educational approaches, policies, recruitment strategies, and leadership organizations with an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) lens. Two virtual national round table meetings were held in 2023 to discuss approaches to integration of the EDI principles into current Canadian plastic surgery training programmes. Additionally, integrative documents and processes were established within our programme to act as a guide for integration of the principles of EDI in the areas of resident education, recruitment, and retention.

However, several obstacles are hindering its deployment. Introduction: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the second leading cause of cancer death in the United States. While patient-reported barriers have been previously described, few studies have analyzed how patients' social needs affect screening rates.
Methods: This cross-sectional study includes 3,443 Kaiser Permanente (KP) patients ages 50 to 75 years who completed the 2020 KP National Social Needs Survey.

Background: The combination of high prices and uncertain effectiveness is a growing challenge in the field of orphan medicines, hampering health technology assessments. Hence, new methods for establishing price benchmarks might be necessary to support reimbursement negotiations. In France, the short-stay activities of public and private sector healthcare facilities have been financed since 2004 by activity-based pricing (T2A). The principle is to allow for payment determined primarily by the nature and volume of activities. T2A has enabled a major transformation compared to the old financing system, chiefly for public sector facilities that used to operate under a general allocation, and convergence between payment methods in the public and private sectors.
