Microsatellite stable metastatic colorectal cancer (MSS mCRC; mismatch repair proficient) has previously responded poorly to immune checkpoint blockade. Botensilimab (BOT) is an Fc-enhanced multifunctional anti-cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4) antibody designed to expand therapy to cold/poorly immunogenic solid tumors, such as MSS mCRC. BOT with or without balstilimab (BAL; anti-PD-1 antibody) is being evaluated in an ongoing expanded phase 1 study.

Protected areas (PAs) constitute one of the main tools for global landscape conservation. Recently, payments for environmental services (PES) have attracted interest from national and regional governments and are becoming one of the leading conservation policy instruments in tropical countries. However, the degree to which areas designated for PES overlap with areas that are critical for maintaining species' landscape connectivity is rarely evaluated.

Videofluoroscopy swallow studies (VFSS) and high-resolution manometry (HRM) methods complement to ascertain mechanisms of infant feeding difficulties. We hypothesized that: (a) an integrated approach (study: parent-preferred feeding therapy based on VFSS and HRM) is superior to the standard-of-care (control: provider-prescribed feeding therapy based on VFSS), and (b) motility characteristics are distinct in infants with penetration or aspiration defined as penetration-aspiration scale (PAS) score ≥ 2. Feeding therapies were nipple flow, fluid thickness, or no modification.

In response to increased demand for primary care services under the Affordable Care Act, the national network of community health centers (CHCs) will play an increasingly prominent role. CHCs have a broad staffing model that includes extensive use of physician assistants (PAs), nurse practitioners (NPs), and certified nurse midwives (CNMs). Between 2007 and 2012, the number of PAs, NPs, and CNMs at CHCs increased by 61%, compared with 31% for physicians.
