Pancreatic cancer, with its poor prognosis, is frequently diagnosed in elderly patients who may be ineligible for surgery or chemoradiation due to age or comorbidities. Stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) offers a targeted approach by delivering precise, high-dose radiation to a limited volume in few fractions. This study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of SBRT in elderly pancreatic cancer patients.

After first-line treatment failure, patients with non-muscle invasive urothelial carcinoma (NMIUC) are recommended to undergo radical cystectomy. However, those unable to pursue radical surgery or desiring bladder preservation require effective salvage therapies. Multi-agent treatment regimens are particularly useful for targeting the complex resistance mechanisms of recurrent UC.

This study aimed to investigate the clinical characteristics of oral mucositis (OM) in patients with hematological diseases who received secondary allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) . This study retrospectively analyzed data on 58 patients with hematological diseases who underwent secondary allo-HSCT at the Peking University People's Hospital from January 2018 to December 2023. The control group included 116 randomized patients after primary allo-HSCT during this period (1:2 ratio) with matched gender, age, and diagnosis.

Background: Cholangiocarcinoma is a rare but highly fatal malignancy; numerous studies have demonstrated promising outcomes and survival rates associated with adjuvant photodynamic therapy (PDT) in the palliative treatment of cholangiocarcinoma.
Objective: To systematically evaluate the existing meta-analyses on PDT for cholangiocarcinoma, assessing evidence quality and strength while performing updated meta-analyses to refine survival outcomes.
Methods: PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science were systematically searched up to September 18, 2024, to identify meta-analyses and clinical studies on PDT in patients with cholangiocarcinoma.
