Chronic vague hip pain may be caused by stress-related injury in the proximal or mid-femoral diaphysis. This has been described as an entity called adductor insertion avulsion syndrome, or thigh splints. In the appropriate clinical setting, the radiologist interpreting the magnetic resonance imaging must be aware of this condition as its imaging findings are subtle. The diagnosis will help the clinician plan the appropriate management. Magnetic resonance imaging can also depict the complications such as stress fracture.

Remimazolam is a newly developed benzodiazepine. Early recovery from anesthesia because of its ultra-short acting effect and less hemodynamic side effects has been reported as the specific advantages of remimazolam. Therefore, the maintenance of anesthesia with propofol may be sometimes switched to remimazolam anesthesia maintenance during surgery because of the risk of delayed awakening and unstable hemodynamics.

Background: Early postoperative pain following total knee arthroplasty remains challenging. We devised a technique for inserting a continuous catheter intraoperatively in the adductor canal and aimed to compare its efficacy and safety with that of an ultrasound-guided anesthetist-administered continuous catheter.
Methods: This single-center, single-surgeon, prospective, interventional, randomized controlled trial included 330 patients, who were randomized into two groups with similar preoperative status and demographics.
