Introduction: Maternal undernutrition and inflammation in utero may significantly impact the neurodevelopmental potential of offspring. However, few studies have investigated the effects of pregnancy interventions on long-term child growth and development. This study will examine the effects of prenatal nutrition and infection management interventions on long-term growth and neurodevelopmental outcomes of offspring.

Runners frequently suffer from medial tibial stress syndrome (MTSS), often linked to excessive eccentric muscle contractions causing periosteal traction by the muscles in the deep posterior compartment. However, the effects of MTSS on these muscles and tendons remain underexplored. This study is aimed at investigating changes in muscle and tendon volumes in this compartment, as well as cross-sectional area measurements, using magnetic resonance imaging.

Background And Objectives: Pediatric patients with acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM) are at risk of impaired brain growth, with long-term neuropsychiatric consequences. We previously reported transient expansions of cerebral ventricle volume (VV) in experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis, which subsequently normalized. In this study, we investigated changes in VV in ADEM in relation to other brain structures and clinical outcomes.
