Primary intracranial plasma cell granuloma (PCG) is a rare form of inflammatory pseudotumour often characterized by non-neoplastic proliferation of plasma cells. The following case indicates a potential role for steroid therapy after subtotal resection.

Background: Intracranial aneurysms are the main cause of subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), a severe stroke with devastating effects. However, there are no existing medications for intracranial aneurysms (IAs) and novel therapeutic targets are required.
Methods: We performed a summary data-based Mendelian Randomization (MR) analysis to explore the causal association between circulating plasma proteins and the risk of IAs and SAH.

Background: Castleman disease (CD) is a rare lymphoproliferative disorder, with intracranial involvement being exceedingly rare. Unicentric Castleman disease (UCD) is typically benign and localized, but its presentation can mimic other intracranial pathologies, complicating diagnosis.
Case Description: We reported a 52-year-old woman who presented with progressive headaches and language disturbances.

Neurological complications in acute liver failure are the most common cause of mortality in this group of patients. Almost all neurologic complications arise from underlying increase in intracranial pressure in ALF. In addition to symptomatic management, the treatment relies on measures to bring down ICP.

Objective: Malignant glioma progresses rapidly and shows poor prognosis, but clinically applicable blood plasma-based biochemical tumor markers remain lacking. This study aimed to develop a diagnostic system using probe electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (PESI-MS) and a machine-learning logistic regression model to detect plasma changes at various time points in a murine glioma model.
Methods: We used a syngeneic intracranial orthotopic murine model with GL261 glioma cells.

Intravenous thrombolysis and mechanical thrombectomy reduce morbidity and improve functional outcome in ischemic stroke. However, acute recanalization therapies may increase the risk of symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage due to its effects on the brain tissue. An increasing proportion of patients with ischemic stroke are using direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs).
