Introduction: Lignocaine, commonly used for local anesthesia, often results in discomfort during mandibular premolar extractions due to limited tissue diffusion with the buccal infiltration technique. Articaine, with better lipid solubility, promises improved diffusion and patient comfort. This study compares the efficacy of 2% Lignocaine and 4% Articaine in reducing pain during mandibular premolar extractions.

Objectives: The aim of the study was to compare the efficiency of buccal infiltration versus combination of buccal and palatal infiltration to anesthetize maxillary molars with symptomaticirreversible pulpitis, wither lidocaine or articaine are used.
Material-methods: This randomized clinical study was conducted on 80 patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis of the maxillary first and second molars. Eighty patients were divided into 4 groups (n = 20).

Introduction: This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of mental/incisive nerve block (MINB) and conventional inferior alveolar nerve block (IANB) anesthesia during endodontic treatment of mandibular first and second premolars with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis.
Methods: In this randomized, double-blind, clinical trial, 120 patients undergoing endodontic treatment of mandibular premolars were randomly assigned to IANB (n = 60) or MINB (n = 60) using 1.8 mL 4% articaine with 1:100,000 epinephrine hydrochloride.

: Buffered local anesthetics are suggested to enhance patient comfort and anesthetic efficacy during dental procedures. However, their advantages over non-buffered solutions in maxillary third molar extractions remain under-investigated. This prospective, randomized, double-blind, split-mouth study aimed to compare the efficacy of buffered versus non-buffered 4% articaine in terms of pain, anesthetic onset, and the duration of anesthesia during maxillary third molar extractions.
