Purpose: CAD/CAM feldspathic ceramic (FC) materials remain used for their low cost and ease of chairside production. The purpose of this study was to describe preliminary clinical results, reporting the success and survival of FC dental crowns in a high-demand service using a simplified CAD/CAM technique.
Materials And Methods: A calibrated dentist fabricated indirect restorations using the CEREC method and intraoral scanning (Cerec Omnicam, Cerec MCXL) for high-demand dental care.

Droplets are prone to adhere or "pin" on solid surfaces which contain unavoidable micro- and nanoscale surface defects formed through chemical and topographical heterogeneity. To initiate droplet motion, potential energy gradients, surface energy gradients, or external energy input are needed. Here, in contrast to established wisdom, we show that properly designed surface heterogeneity can promote microdroplet self-transport without any external force or anisotropy.

Bioactive glasses (BGs) are physiologically reactive surface biomaterials widely used in biomedical applications and various treatments. Borate bioactive glasses (BBGs) are third-generation BGs, and they exhibit superior biodegradable, bioactive, osteoconductive, antibacterial, and biocompatible properties compared to other types of BGs. Certain concentrations of dopant ions can be incorporated into the chemical structure of BBGs to enhance their biological functionalities and antimicrobial properties.

Particles are essential building blocks in nanomedicine and cell engineering. Their administration often involves blood contact, which demands a hemocompatible material profile. Coating particles with isolated cell membranes is a common strategy to improve hemocompatibility, but this solution is nonscalable and potentially immunogenic.

Rechargeable aqueous Zn//MnO2 batteries have attracted significant attention due to their high safety and cost-effective for potential large-scale energy storage. However, the severe acidic corrosion and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) on Zn anodes in acidic electrolytes pose critical challenges to their practical application. Here, we introduce trace amounts of p-Hydroxybenzaldehyde (M4) into the electrolyte to address the above anode issues.
