We report a patient with dissection of the bilateral intracranial vertebral artery (VA) that did not present any symptoms other than occipital headache, which was probably associated with sleeping overnight in a car seat with unsteady head position. Although cerebral angiography revealed extensive dissection of the bilateral VA after branching of the posterior inferior cerebral artery, retrograde flow to the basilar artery (BA) via the right posterior communicating artery contributed to preserved posterior circulation. These findings indicate that even in patients without neurological deficits, the involvement of BA cannot be excluded and that accurate evaluation using radiological techniques should be considered.

Although open repair remains the mainstream treatment for aortic arch dissection, its surgical complexity and perioperative complications are significant. We developed a novel stentgraft system for less-invasive endovascular aortic arch repair. We successfully performed a total percutaneous transfemoral endovascular repair of aortic arch dissection using a novel off-the-shelf endograft system.

Background: The expanding number of parotid ablations, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeries of the head and neck, considerably increased the risk of the marginal mandibular branch (MMB) injury. The purpose of our study was to determine the anatomical peculiarities of the MMB depending on the facial nerve branching pattern (FNBP), gender and cephalometric type.
Materials And Methods: The MMB was dissected on 75 hemiheads of adult embalmed cadavers.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to determine the exact locations of vascular pedicles that supply the fibularis longus and brevis, to identify the morphometric features of those vessels in the lateral compartment of the leg, and to indicate the branching points of the pedicles from the main arteries.
Methods: The popliteal arteries of 40 lower limbs from 20 adult cadavers (12 males, 8 females) were bilaterally injected with colored latex. After dissection, the branches of the arteries were identified and counted.
