Global warming and declining rainfall in recent years have led to increased water and soil salinity in Iran agricultural lands. To address these challenges, greenhouse cultivation, particularly soilless culture, emerges as a critical solution for mitigating the effect of soil salinity and water scarcity on vegetable plant production in Iran. The aim of this experiment was to compare the growth and physiological responses of cucumber plants cultivated in both soil and soilless systems, using three distinct nutrient solutions.

Three-dimensional (3D) imaging technology holds immense potential across various high-tech applications; however, current display technologies are hindered by limitations such as restricted viewing angles, cumbersome headgear, and limited multi-user accessibility. To address these challenges, researchers are actively exploring new materials and techniques for 3D imaging. Laser-based volumetric displays (VDs) offer a promising solution; nonetheless, existing screen materials fall short in meeting key requirements for long-term durability, full-color operation, and scalability.

Prepatellar bursitis is a common cause of anterior knee pain. We present an unusual case of massive bilateral traumatic haemorrhagic prepatellar bursitis managed with surgical excision and describe our operative findings. The patient presented with large bilateral knee swellings which had been present for six years following a fall onto both knees.

Remontant raspberry cultivars originally produce fruit in the upper part of primocanes in the fall, but if retained over winter, they can produce a second crop in the lower part of the floricanes the following spring. Maintaining remontant cultivars to yield twice during the cane's growth cycle corresponds to a double-cropping system, which enables an increase in the total yield and the extension of the fruiting season. To date, there is little information on changes in fruit quality between primocane and floricane crops.
