In short-term ordered recall tasks, phonological similarity impedes item and order recall, while semantic similarity benefits item recall with a weak or null effect on order recall. Ishiguro and Saito recently suggested that these contradictory findings were due to an inadequate assessment of semantic similarity. They proposed a novel measure of semantic similarity based on the distance between items in a three-dimensional space composed of the semantic dimensions of valence, arousal, and dominance.

This paper proposes an entropy-based stochastic optimization method for a multi-energy system in a gas-to-methanol process, aiming to achieve optimal allocation of gas, steam, and electricity to ensure executability under modeling uncertainties. First, mechanistic models are developed for major chemical equipments, including the desulfurization, steam boilers, air separation, and syngas compressors.

The outcome of refractory/relapsed systemic Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (R/R-sALCL), especially for anaplastic lymphoma kinase-1 (ALK-1)-negative disease, remains dismal even after autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (AHSCT). The intensification of both salvage and conditioning regimens, without increasing the toxicity, could improve the outcome of AHSCT in R/R-sALCL. Based on the successful experience of the incorporation of antiD20 monoclonal antibodies in the treatment of B-Cell Lymphomas, we designed a salvage and conditioning regimen incorporating the antiCD30-conjugated antibody (Brentuximab Vedotin, BV) to standard chemotherapy regimens, and we describe herein the clinical course of a patient with AKL-ve, R/R-sALCL, who received salvage regimen BV + DHAP, followed by AHSCT with preparative regimen consisted of BV plus standard BEAM.
