Unresectable pancreatic cancers have an extremely dismal prognosis and chemoresistant nature. The treatment of pancreatic cancer is still problematic. Gemcitabine is a promising new agent that has been studied recently for palliation of advanced pancreatic cancer. However, the response rates have been highly variable, and are often irreproducible. To improve this low response rate, various treatments are needed because no standard treatment exists. Intra-arterial chemotherapy is considered to take advantage of the first pass effect of the drug, generating higher local drug concentrations in tumor cells with lower toxicity. Regional intra-arterial chemotherapy may provide high levels of cytostatic concentrations within the tumor and, simultaneously, a low rate of systemic side effects compared with systemic administration of anti-neoplastic drugs. Intra-arterial chemotherapy has been introduced as an alternative treatment for advanced pancreatic cancer. Further clinical trials of this method should be subjected to a prospective randomized controlled study for advanced pancreatic cancer.

Blood pressure (BP) is a dynamic measure that is frequently discussed in static terms. There exist many limitations in current documentation systems whereby documented BP values may not be reflective of the dynamic variability of BP. This study used an observational, prospective, non-randomized study design to examine the variability in BP response during intravenous vasoactive medication administration in an intensive care unit setting.

Introduction: Graft-versus-host disease is a serious complication after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and is a major cause of death post-transplantation. Approximately 50% of acute graft-versus-host disease patients do not respond to systemic steroids and their prognosis is poor regardless of the treatment. This study describes our experience with pediatric patients diagnosed with steroid-refractory graft-versus-host disease who received intra-mesenteric steroid treatment.

Background: Pancreatic cancer is one of the most malignant tumors with an inferior prognosis. This study aims to determine the prognostic significance of immune-inflammatory scores and coagulation indices in patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer(MPC) and develop a predictive nomogram.
Methods: This study retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 384 patients with MPC who underwent intra-arterial infusion chemotherapy (IAIC).

Objective: To assess whether intra-arterial tenecteplase administered after successful endovascular recanalisation improves outcomes in patients with acute arterial occlusion of the posterior circulation.
Design: Multicentre randomised controlled trial.
Setting: 31 hospitals in China, 24 January 2023 to 24 August 2023.

Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the prognostic value of C-reactive protein to albumin (CRP/Alb) ratio in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treated with transcatheter intra-arterial therapy combined with molecular targeted agents (MTAs) and programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1)/programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) inhibitors.
Methods: Medical records of 271 consecutive patients with HCC receiving this combination therapy in China between 2019 and 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. Prognostic factors for progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) were identified using univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses.
