Chaotic orbits of the mushroom billiards display intermittent behaviors. We investigate statistical properties of this system by constructing an infinite partition on the chaotic part of a Poincaré surface, which illustrates details of chaotic dynamics. Each piece of the infinite partition has a unique escape time from the half disk region, and from this result it is shown that, for fixed values of the system parameters, the escape time distribution obeys a power law 1/t(esc)(3).

This study investigates the motion of an electron in a Coulomb potential driven by an intense linearly polarized XUV laser pulse analyzed using Gordon-Volkov wave functions. The wave function is decomposed into spherical partial waves to model the scattered electron wave packet after the recollision with a proton. This interaction triggers high harmonic generation, producing coherent X-ray pulses with frequencies that are integer multiples of the XUV field.

Introduction: Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a rare haematological cancer with poor 5-years overall survival (OS) and high relapse rate. Leukemic cells are sensitive to Natural Killer (NK) cell mediated killing. However, NK cells are highly impaired in AML, which promote AML immune escape from NK cell immune surveillance.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of injecting flue gas (CO, N, and O) originating from coal-fired power plants into a coal seam on CH extraction and CO geological storage. To this end, a multifield thermal-fluid-solid-coupled mathematical model of flue gas injection extraction was established. The results showed that with the increase in time increase, the volume concentration of CH decreased, but the CO, N, and O increased.

Background: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is a prevalent and aggressive form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma with a complex etiology. NOP2/Sun domain 2 (NSUN2) is an RNA methyltransferase that has been linked to the regulation of gene expression in various cancers. However, the function of NSUN2 in DLBCL, specifically its contribution to exosome-driven tumor progression, remains to be thoroughly elucidated.

Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) represents approximately 3% of all gastrointestinal cancers and is a highly heterogeneous and aggressive malignancy originating from the epithelial cells of the biliary tree. CCA is classified by anatomical location into intrahepatic (iCCA), extrahepatic (eCCA), gallbladder cancer (GBC), and ampullary cancers. Although considered a rare tumor, CCA incidence has risen globally, particularly due to the increased diagnosis of iCCA.
