Introduction: The relationship between physical activity (PA) and nutritional status on the prognosis of cancer survivors remains underexplored. We aimed to investigate the combined effects of PA and Geriatric Nutritional Risk Index (GNRI) on prognostic assessment of survival outcomes in US cancer survivors.
Methods: 2,619 subjects were screened from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) database from 1999 to 2018.

Health and nutrition of individuals are tied to reproductive success, which determines population viability. Environmental variability and anthropogenic effects can affect the health and nutrition of a species leading to reproductive repercussions which can hinder recovery of endangered populations. Indices of health and nutrition were examined for an imperiled species, delta smelt, Hypomesus transpacificus, in relation to their reproductive status to evaluate the effects of hydrologic conditions in the San Francisco Estuary and Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta.

Design: A cross-sectional design using 39 individual interviews, three online focus groups and three written submissions involving young people with lived experience (PWLE), parents/carers, paediatric staff and security staff involved in nasogastric feeding under restraint in paediatric settings in England. Qualitative semistructured interviews were transcribed and thematically analysed.

Background: Socioeconomic inequality in nutritional status as one of the main social determinants of health can lead to inequality in health outcomes. In the present study, the socioeconomic inequality in the burden of nutritional deficiencies among the countries of the world using Global Burden of Disease (GBD) data was investigated.
Methods: Burden data of nutritional deficiencies and its subsets including protein-energy malnutrition, iodine deficiency, vitamin A deficiency, and dietary iron deficiency form GBD study and Human Development Index (HDI), a proxy for the socio-economic status of countries, from united nations database were collected.
