The authors report a case of a complete posterior dislocation of the acromioclavicular (AC) joint with an ipsilateral medial epiphyseal clavicular fracture in a 20-year-old male. Open reduction was indicated because a maintained closed reduction of the AC joint was unsuccessful, and the described treatment maintained a successful reduction.

Objective: To explore the anatomic characteristics of C7 nerve localization, course, and length during cross-transfer surgery of the C7 nerve through the anterior vertebral approach and investigate the feasibility, safety, and clinical efficacy of C7 nerve transfer surgery through the anterior vertebral approach for the treatment of central upper limb spastic paralysis.
Methods: Four fresh-frozen adult head and neck samples were selected. C7 nerve transfer surgery was simulated through the anterior vertebral approach.

Background: The realities of midshaft clavicle fracture distribution have not been described accurately. Consequently, a topographical depiction of midshaft clavicle fractures may help design implants that are more anatomically concordant with the fractured clavicle, leading to better outcomes and fewer complications.
Methods: This is a retrospective cohort study.
We present a case of asymptomatic non-union of distal clavicle fracture in an older adult who experienced late-onset skin dehiscence and a secondarily open fracture. We adopted a simplified surgical approach involving resection of the protruding medial clavicular fragment instead of fixation of the non-union. This approach led to the rapid healing of soft tissues while maintaining an ulcer-free status and adequate shoulder function at the one-year follow-up.

This study aimed to develop image-analysis-based classification models for distinguishing individuals younger and older than 30 using the medial clavicle. We extracted 2D images of the medial clavicle from multi-slice computed tomography (MSCT) scans from Clinical Hospital Center Split (n = 204). A sample was divided into a training (164 images) and testing (40 images) dataset.

Introduction: Acromioclavicular joint cysts represent a relatively rare clinical entity, often manifested as an enlarging mass adjacent to the acromioclavicular joint, which can raise concerns for a potential tumor. These cysts are identified for their association with shoulder pathology, particularly extensive rotator cuff tears, and present a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge for misdiagnosis as neoplastic masses. In this case, we are reporting on an unusual presentation of a patient presenting with a swollen mass in the left trapezius causing neck pain.
