In the modern age, half of the population is facing various chronic illnesses due to glucose maintenance in the body, major causes of fatality and inefficiency. The early identification of glucose plays a crucial role in medical treatment and the food industry, particularly in diabetes diagnosis. In the past few years, non-enzymatic electrochemical glucose sensors have received a lot of interest for their ability to identify glucose levels accurately.

Unlabelled: This study aimed to evaluate gold nanoparticles (GNPs) and photobiomodulation (PBM), associated with antibothropic serum (AS), to treat a muscle lesion induced by Bothrops jararaca venom.
Methods: 108 Swiss male mice were used, divided into nine groups (n = 12) with different combinations of treatments. Animals were inoculated with 250 µg of B.

Photocatalytic methane oxidation under mild conditions using single-atom catalysts remains an advanced technology. In this work, gold single atoms (Au SAs) were introduced onto TiO nanostructures using a simple method. The resulting performance demonstrated effective conversion of methane into H and C products at room temperature.

In this study, we present a versatile methodology for the fabrication of tunable plasmonic nanostructures by employing a disordered gold nanoisland-dielectric-metal configuration, achieved through femtosecond laser printing. By reshaping the gold nanoislands and reconfiguring them into nanograting-like structures, the orientation of these nanostructures is influenced by the polarization of the femtosecond laser light, leading to controllable plasmon resonance and polarization-sensitive color display.
