The prerequisite for the full oral rehabilitation and social adaptation of cleft palate patients is a consistent, comprehensive care system, providing a well organised integration of preventive and interceptive measures, as well as close cooperation between the various specialised disciplines. Preventive stomatological care should begin in infancy.

Introduction: Temporomandibular joint ankylosis is defined as permanent jaw constriction with an interincisal mouth opening of less than 30 mm, due to bony, fibro-osseous or fibrous fusion. Exertional heat stroke (EHS) is a life-threatening condition characterized by hyperthermia and multi-organ dysfunction, often associated with intestinal barrier disruption. This study evaluated the protective effects of Huoxiang Zhengqi Dropping Pills (HXZQD) against EHS in a rat model.
