Objective: The purpose of this study was to describe the clinical and radiographic findings in a series of patients with nonanastomotic strictures after colonic interposition.
Conclusion: Nonanastomotic strictures usually appear on upper gastrointestinal tract radiography as relatively long segments of smooth, tapered narrowing involving the interposed colon, most likely resulting from chronic ischemia. Unlike strictures at the esophagocolic or cologastric anastomosis, these long nonanastomotic strictures generally have a poor response to endoscopic dilatation procedures and are more likely to necessitate surgical revision of the colonic interposition.

Endoscopic management of benign pancreaticobiliary disorders encompasses a range of procedures designed to address complications in gallstone disease, choledocholithiasis, and pancreatic disorders. Acute cholecystitis is typically treated with cholecystectomy or percutaneous drainage (PT-GBD), but for high-risk or future surgical candidates, alternative decompression methods, such as endoscopic transpapillary gallbladder drainage (ETP-GBD), and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-guided gallbladder drainage (EUS-GBD), are effective. PT-GBD is associated with significant discomfort as well as variable adverse event rates.

Background: Donor livers from older donation after circulatory death (DCD) donors are frequently discarded for transplantation because of the high risk of graft failure. It is unknown whether DCD livers from older donors benefit from dynamic preservation.
Methods: In a multicenter study, we retrospectively compared graft and patient outcomes after transplantation of livers from DCD donors older than 60 y, preserved with either static cold storage (SCS), ex situ sequential dual hypothermic perfusion, controlled oxygenated rewarming, and normothermic perfusion (DHOPE-COR-NMP), or in situ abdominal normothermic regional perfusion (aNRP).

However, the effect of HOPE on high-risk extended criteria donor (ECD) and donation after circulatory death determination (DCDD) grafts is incomplete, despite the expectation that this cohort benefit maximally from HOPE.
