Introduction: This research is focused on early detection of Alzheimer's disease (AD) using a multiscale feature fusion framework, combining biomarkers from memory, vision, and speech regions extracted from magnetic resonance imaging and positron emission tomography images.

Methods: Using 2D gray level co-occurrence matrix (2D-GLCM) texture features, volume, standardized uptake value ratios (SUVR), and obesity from different neuroimaging modalities, the study applies various classifiers, demonstrating a feature importance analysis in each region of interest. The research employs four classifiers, namely linear support vector machine, linear discriminant analysis, logistic regression (LR), and logistic regression with stochastic gradient descent (LRSGD) classifiers, to determine feature importance, leading to subsequent validation using a probabilistic neural network classifier.

Pulmonary embolism (PE) is a life-threatening condition with varied presentations, occasionally mimicking ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). This case highlights a 52-year-old male patient with a history of venous thromboembolism (VTE) who presented with progressive shortness of breath over a month, culminating in dyspnea at rest, and anterior ST-segment elevation on electrocardiography (ECG). The initial evaluation suggested STEMI.

Introduction: Hyperthermia is an established adjunct in multimodal cancer treatments, with mechanisms including cell death, immune modulation, and vascular changes. Traditional hyperthermia applications are resource-intensive and often associated with patient morbidity, limiting their clinical accessibility. Gold nanorods (GNRs) offer a precise, minimally invasive alternative by leveraging near-infrared (NIR) light to deliver targeted hyperthermia therapy (THT).

Viral warts, a common dermatological condition caused by human papillomavirus infection (HPV) infection, present a particular challenge for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients due to their compromised immunity, which increases the susceptibility to HPV infection and complicates treatment efforts. Imiquimod, an immunomodulatory agent, has demonstrated efficacy in managing warts. Furthermore, local hyperthermia, a non-invasive therapeutic modality, has demonstrated significant potential in the management of warts.

Cancer represents a significant cause of morbidity and mortality. Definitive chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy treatment have not improved the "5-year survival period" and have shown recurrence. Currently, cancer immunotherapy is reported to be a promising therapeutic modality that aims to potentiate immune response against cancer by employing immune checkpoint inhibitors, cancer vaccines and immunomodulators.
