Pulmonary giant cell carcinoma (PGCC) is a rare subtype of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) characterized by complex pathology, high rates of misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis, an aggressive clinical course, rapid progression, and poor prognosis. This case report describes a 67-year-old Chinese male with a left upper lobe lung mass, diagnosed CT-guided lung biopsy as PGCC with symptomatic multiple cerebral metastases. The tumor showed strong PD-L1 positivity, and genetic testing revealed a TP53 exon 4 c.

Adaptive radiation, whereby a clade pairs rapid speciation with rapid phenotypic evolution, can result in an uneven distribution of biodiversity across the Metazoan tree. The cichlid fishes of East Africa have undergone multiple adaptive radiations within the major rift lakes. Cichlid radiations are marked by divergence across distinct habitat gradients producing many morphological and behavioural adaptations.

Purpose: The basal bone of the anterior maxilla plays a crucial role in maintaining primary stability of immediate implants. However, no consensus exists on the relationship between basal bone width and immediate implant success, unlike for basal bone length. This study presents a clinical scheme to predict the primary stability of immediate implants using the basal bone width.
