We report the case of a 32-year-old patient with a left atrium myxosarcoma, presenting with congestive heart failure. It is a rare cardiac malignant primary tumor that seems to derive from the same cellular line as myxomas, but the prognosis is very different. These tumors present local recidives and distance metastasis, so the mean survival is about 1 year, independent of any therapeutical option.

Found in large mammals, especially ruminants, and has recently been described in chimpanzees; however, OC has not previously been described in humans. Purpose To assess the predictive value of left atrial (LA) fast long-axis strain derived from cardiac MRI for thrombotic events (TEs) in individuals with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). Materials and Methods This secondary analysis of an ongoing prospective trial (Chinese Clinical Trial Registry: ChiCTR1900024094) included consecutive participants with HCM without atrial fibrillation (AF) who underwent cardiac MRI from January 2012 to December 2020. Methods: We analyzed 71 consecutive patients who underwent totally endoscopic off-pump LAA closure and bilateral pulmonary vein isolation.
