Objective: To analyze the chemical constituents of the volatile oil by SFE-CO2 from Rhizoma Atractylodis and its roasted products.
Methods: The chemical constituents of the volatile oil extracted by SFE-CO2 were separated and identified by GC-MS.
Results: 33 kinds of constituents were identified from Atractylodes lancea (Thunb.) DC. and its roasted products. The relative contents of 12 kinds of constituents from the processing products were descended and 7 kinds were ascended; 30 kinds of constituents were identified from Atractylodes chinensis (DC.) Koidz. and its roasted products. The relative contents of 10 kinds of constituents from the roasted products were descended and 11 kinds were ascended.
Conclusion: In the processed products, the relative contents of some low boiling point constituents are descended but some high are ascended.

As a common medicinal and edible plant, dandelion plays a crucial and significant role in the fields of traditional Chinese medicines, functional foods, healthcare products, daily chemicals, and feed additives, which are closely related to its rich chemical constituents and remarkable biological activities. Modern studies have demonstrated that dandelion contains all kinds of bioactive constituents, including flavonoids, amino acids, fatty acids, organic acids, phenolic acids, coumarins, lignans, polysaccharides, phytosterols, terpenes, glycoproteins, oligosaccharides, alkaloids, etc. Meanwhile, dandelion has been proven to possess antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antitumor, antivirus, hypoglycemic, and hypolipidemic properties, as well as the ability to regulate hormone levels and protect some visceral organs.

Nine new structurally diverse filicinic acid-based meroterpenoids (-) with four kinds of carbon skeletons were isolated from the rhizomes of . Their structures, including the absolute configurations, were elucidated by comprehensive analysis of spectroscopic data, quantum chemical calculations, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Structurally, compounds - feature an unprecedented 6/6/5/6/6/6 hexacyclic system with a rare oxaspiro[4.

The use of recycled aggregates in the production of concrete and mortar represents a sustainable way to reintroduce these constituents-which are typically treated as waste and disposed of-in the production chain, providing new value to potentially polluting materials. The effect of recycled aggregates has been widely studied in the production of concrete due to the directions of National Standards in Italy; however, their role in the manufacturing of mortar must be investigated further due to the high variability that can be observed in the literature. In particular, the aim of this paper is the mechanical characterization of sustainable mortars defined by different mix designs and different binders, in which the aggregates are gradually replaced by a recycled sand obtained from the grinding of construction and demolition wastes, which could include old concrete, clay bricks, and minimal amounts of other kinds of residual materials.

Discoveries and technological innovations over the past decade are transforming our understanding of the properties of ceramics, such as 'hard', 'brittle', and 'homogeneous'. For example, inorganic crystals containing molecular anions exhibit excellent secondary battery characteristics, and the fusion of inorganic solids and molecules results in innovative catalytic functions and physical properties. Different from the conventional ceramics such as metal oxides that are formed by monatomic cations and anions, unique properties and functions can be expected in molecular-incorporated inorganic solids, due to the asymmetric and dynamic properties brought about by the constituent molecular units.
