Mastering anterior direct composite restorations is a necessity for the contemporary clinician who appreciates and understands the art and science of cosmetic dentistry. In the esthetic zone, composite bonding procedures are considered the most conservative and least invasive technique to return missing, diseased, and unsightly tooth structure to enhanced color, form, and function. Composites' attractiveness and popularity are easy to explain because these restorations have excellent esthetic potential, very good to excellent prognosis, and a reasonable fee. Composites are the most versatile restorative material available to the dental professional, especially for the esthetic-conscious patients. For composite restorations to mimic natural tooth structure, the clinician must have a comprehensive understanding of the material science and techniques involved in direct bonding procedures.

The stone Ensemble from Corbii de Piatrǎ Romania arouses a continuous scientific interest, with the final goal being to obtain an exhaustive and multidisciplinary package of results that will become the support of an extensive restoration project. The cave painting stands out as the most important and most affected by the advanced degradation among the historical monuments in Romania. This article provides for the first time a radiocarbon dating of the first forms of painting by establishing the age of the mortar/plaster used as a pictorial support.

Objective: To conduct a systematic review on the mechanical properties of 3D printed resin-based composites when compared with those of subtractively manufactured resin-based composites.
Materials And Methods: In vitro studies comparing the mechanical properties of additively and subtractively manufactured resin-based composites were sought. A systematic search, following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), was performed on four databases (PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and Scopus) for articles published until 23 December 2024.
