Purpose: People with fatty liver are at high risk for pulmonary nodules, but the underlying mechanism is unclear. This study aimed to investigate the occurrence of lung nodules in fatty liver patients and explore influencing factors.
Patients And Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 57,119 individuals who underwent health checkups at the People's Hospital of Guangxi from May 2020 to May 2024.
Unlabelled: Growth hormone (GH) plays a crucial role in various physiological functions, with its secretion tightly regulated by complex endocrine mechanisms. Pathological conditions such as acromegaly or pituitary tumors result in elevated circulating GH levels, which have been implicated in a spectrum of metabolic disorders, potentially by regulating liver metabolism. In this study, we focused on the liver, a key organ in metabolic regulation and a primary target of GH, to investigate the impact of high circulating GH on liver metabolism.

The objective of this study was to investigate the association between non-invasive liver biomarkers used to assess hepatic steatotic and fibrotic burdens and graft outcomes in KTRs.
Methods: A total of 3,092 patients who underwent deceased or living donor kidney transplantation (KT) between January 2000 and December 2022 were enrolled.

Synthetic progestin dydrogesterone is widely used in gynecology and animal husbandry, leading to high environmental detection rates and concentrations. Dydrogesterone influences sex differentiation, gonad development, and spawning in fish. However, its impact on the liver, a vital organ for hormone production and detoxification, remains largely unknown.

Triglyceride (TG) and its derivatives tend to be decreased in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients' blood when inflammation progresses. Aside from the role as a lipid buffer, white adipose tissue (WAT) contributes to this abnormality via adipokines, which regulate many metabolic signals. This work investigated adipokine-caused hepatic changes and their involvement in RA-related hypolipemia.
