This work explores bubble laser technology as an alternative to needles in injection systems for vaccination, cancer treatment, insulin delivery, and catheter hygiene. The technology leverages laser-induced microfiltration and bubble dynamics to create high-speed pneumatic jets that penetrate the skin without needles, addressing discomfort, infection risk, and needle-related concerns. The system's performance is analyzed based on laser wavelength, pulse duration, and Gaussian beam droplet size.

Introduction: The development of pneumatic shooting has led to the construction of technologically advanced devices with discharge energies similar to those of firearms. The pneumatic weapons ammunition market offers a variety of shot which varies in penetration properties and the extent of gunshot damage. In view of the ease of "tuning" of air rifles, a study was conducted of the inlet damage to the anterior femoral surface after pneumatic gunshots.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe the various surgical approaches to manage stromal interface irregularity following deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty (DALK).
Methods: This interventional case series included patients requiring repeat keratoplasty procedures for stromal interface opacity and/or irregularity following DALK. The following surgical techniques with the aim of restoring transparency and regularity of the central optical zone and improving visual acuity in eyes that underwent unsuccessful DALK were performed: 1) simple anterior lamellar graft exchange, 2) repeat DALK with pneumatic dissection, 3) repeat DALK with deepening of manual lamellar dissection, 4) small diameter stripping of the central stroma-endothelium-Descemet complex and its replacement with a new endothelial lamella, and 5) 2-piece microkeratome-assisted mushroom penetrating keratoplasty.
