Background: Transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) is an effective intervention for managing complications of portal hypertension, particularly acute variceal bleeding (AVB). While effective in reducing portal pressure and preventing rebleeding, TIPS is associated with a considerable risk of overt hepatic encephalopathy (OHE), a complication that significantly elevates mortality rates.
Aim: To develop a machine learning (ML) model to predict OHE occurrence post-TIPS in patients with AVB using a 5-year dataset.

Background: To effectively advance person-centered care (PCC) practice, it is important to equip healthcare providers with person-centered values and beliefs while simultaneously transforming their work environment to align with PCC. Thus, instruments to measure caring practice status in nursing competency for psychiatric-specific behavioral limitations, ethico-moral behavior, technology use, and PCC need to be developed.
Objective: This study developed the Technological Competency as Caring in Psychiatric Nursing Instrument (TCCNPNI) to measure practice status and test its content and construct validity.

Background: Patients who actively engage in their medical decision-making processes can experience better health outcomes. This exploratory study aimed to identify predictors of preferred and actual roles in decision-making in healthy women with BRCA1/2 pathogenic variants (PVs).
Methods: Women with BRCA1/2 PVs without a history of breast and/or ovarian cancer were recruited in six centres across Germany.

Objective: Aim: To study the peculiarities of self-realization of women with different states of family interaction, to build a mathematical model that allows to identify the probability of self-realization of women, depending on their psycho-emotional, individual-psychological, behavioral and partnership patterns, to consider the family as a whole system, to define the phenomenon of family interaction as a leading the construct of the process of family functioning, to distinguish levels of family crisis and states of family interaction.
Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: Women of different social status and level of self-realization participated in this study.
Results: Results: In the given sample, it was displayed what percentages of divorced women compared to those living in families are self-actualized in their lives.

Biological brain age is a brain-predicted age using machine learning to indicate brain health and its associated conditions. The presence of an older predicted brain age relative to the actual chronological age is indicative of accelerated aging processes. Consequently, the disparity between the brain's chronological age and its predicted age (brain-age gap) and the factors influencing this disparity provide critical insights into cerebral health dynamics during aging.
