Purpose: To determine the incidence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) by non-invasive methods in people living with HIV (PLWH).
Methods: Prospective cohort, in PLWH naïve to antiretroviral therapy, starting bictegravir (BIC) or dolutegravir (DTG) at the Hospital de Infectología "La Raza", in Mexico City, from February 2021 to August 2023. We measured at baseline and 48 weeks triglycerides and glucose index (TyG), fatty liver index (FLI), hepatic steatosis index (HSI) and liver ultrasonography; relative risk (RR) for developing NAFLD was determined.

Two siblings from a Mexican family who carried lethal Raine syndrome are presented. A newborn term male (case 1) and his 21 gestational week brother (case 2), with a similar osteosclerotic pattern: generalized osteosclerosis, which is more evident in facial bones and cranial base. Prenatal findings at 21 weeks and histopathological features for case 2 are described.

Nintedanib is an oral angiokinase inhibitor used as second-line treatment for non-small cell lung cancer. New radiotracers, such as Ga-DOTA-E-[c(RGDfK)], that target αβ integrin might have an impact as a noninvasive method for assessing angiogenesis inhibitors. From July 2011 through October 2015, 38 patients received second-line nintedanib plus docetaxel.
