Background: Isolated gastric recurrence due to ovarian cancer is a rare event and is usually associated with gastrointestinal symptoms.
Case Report: We report a case of an isolated gastric recurrence of ovarian carcinoma in an otherwise asymptomatic 42-year-old woman in whom diagnosis was made using the FDG-PET/CT scan followed by laparoscopy.
Conclusions: In rare cases, ovarian cancer can directly recur on the stomach without any symptoms. FDG-PET/CT scan and diagnostic laparoscopy are effective in leading to an early diagnosis of disease recurrence.

To date, no prospective study has been conducted to compare the safety and effectiveness of endoscopic snare resection with an elastic band (ESR-EB) and endoscopic snare resection with a transparent cap (ESR-C) for treating gastric muscularis propria lesions. We aimed to compare the safety and effectiveness of ESR-EB with those of ESR-C for gastric muscularis propria lesions less than 10 mm in diameter. A total of 64 patients were enrolled prospectively from May 2023 to November 2023 at Shenzhen Hospital of Southern Medical University, the First Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University, and the People's Hospital of Zhongshan City.

DNA methylation is known to be involved in tumor progression. This is the first study to perform an extensive methylation analysis of plasma circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) using targeted bisulfite sequencing in gastric cancer (GC) patients to evaluate the usefulness of ctDNA methylation as a new biomarker. Sixteen patients who received chemotherapy for recurrent GC were included.

Background And Aim: In this study, a transfer learning (TL) algorithm was used to predict postoperative recurrence of advanced gastric cancer (AGC) and to evaluate its value in a small-sample clinical study.
Methods: A total of 431 cases of AGC from three centers were included in this retrospective study. First, TL signatures (TLSs) were constructed based on different source domains, including whole slide images (TLS-WSIs) and natural images (TLS-ImageNet).

Background: Identifying the most effective postoperative surveillance interval in patients with gastric cancer (GC) remains challenging. To elucidate a logical and effective surveillance schedule, we analyzed GC recurrence risk trends after gastrectomy using the hazard function.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of 2503 patients who underwent curative GC resection between 2000 and 2018.
