Magn Reson Imaging
December 2024
Department of Radiology, West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Chengdu, China. Electronic address:
Purpose: To evaluate the feasibility of multiplexed sensitivity-encoding (MUSE) with deep learning-based reconstruction (DLR) for breast imaging in comparison with conventional diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) and MUSE alone.
Methods: This study was conducted using conventional single-shot DWI and MUSE data of female participants who underwent breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) from June to December 2023. The k-space data in MUSE were reconstructed using both conventional reconstruction and DLR.

Purpose To determine the prevalence of mitral annular disjunction (MAD) in patients undergoing cardiac MRI for various clinical indications and to assess the association of MAD with arrhythmia, mitral valve prolapse (MVP), and myocardial alteration. Materials and Methods This study analyzed data from a retrospective observational registry of consecutive patients undergoing cardiac MRI for different clinical indications. Cardiac MRI examinations were performed from January 2019 to June 2019 at 13 Italian hospitals.

Background: To verify overall survival predictions made with residual convolutional neural network-determined morphological response (ResNet-MR) in patients with unresectable synchronous liver-only metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) treated with bevacizumab-based chemotherapy (BBC).
Methods: A retrospective review of liver-only mCRC patients treated with BBC from December 2011 to Apr 2021 was performed. Patients who had metachronous liver metastases or received locoregional treatment before the initiation of BBC were excluded.

Background: Wire-guided localization (WGL) for non-palpable breast cancer lesions has drawbacks like wire migration, localization difficulties, and logistical challenges. Wireless methods, such as reflector-guided localization (RGL), address these issues and are compatible with breast MRI. This study evaluates the organizational and cost impacts of RGL compared to WGL.
