Cu-EAB zeolite catalyst: A promising candidate with excellent SO poisoning resistance for NH-SCR reaction.

J Hazard Mater

January 2025

MOE Key Laboratory of Bioinorganic and Synthetic Chemistry, School of Chemistry, IGCME, Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou 510006, China. Electronic address:

In this work, we synthesized Cu-EAB catalysts with an EAB topology for the NH-SCR of NO and evaluated their resistance to SO poisoning for the first time. The Cu-EAB catalyst showed superior NO conversion and selectivity for N, along with a notable tolerance to high space velocities and SO, outperforming the commercial Cu-CHA catalyst. This enhanced resistance was attributed to the Cu species formation at the 2.

Background: Neurologic symptoms seen in patients receiving immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) may not be entirely caused by immunotoxicity. We aim to highlight these confounding conditions through clinical cases to encourage early recognition and management.

Methods: We describe a series of seven cases from our institution that were treated with ICI and presented with Neurologic symptoms and were diagnosed with superimposed conditions beyond immunotoxicity.

Marijuana poisoning in canines is still considered a taboo topic. Poisoning in pets is becoming increasingly common, in many cases resulting in severe clinical signs, such as ataxia, urinary incontinence, mydriasis, depression, and hyperesthesia. Colombia does not have any reliable test for the diagnosis of exposure to cannabis in animals, and it is not an obligation to report this kind of poisoning to the authorities.

A systematic review of reports on aquatic envenomation: are there global hot spots and vulnerable populations?

J Venom Anim Toxins Incl Trop Dis

December 2024

Department of Tropical Medicine, Medical Microbiology and Pharmacology, John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, Honolulu, Hawaii, United States.

Envenomation by aquatic species is an under-investigated source of human morbidity and mortality. Increasing population density along marine and freshwater coastlines increases these incidents. Specific occupational groups - including commercial fishery workers, fisherfolk, marine tourism workers, and researchers - rely on aquatic resources for their livelihood.
