The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is the largest national, voluntary certification organization for radiologic technologists, with 235,000 registered technologists and an annual examination volume of 20,000 to 25,000. The ARRT's board is appointed by the ACR (four members) and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (five members). The ARRT is in the process of developing a certification for radiologist assistants. Standards of education, ethics, and examination will be adopted to identify individuals qualified to assume this new role. The program is scheduled to be available in the fall of 2005.

This study aimed to survey technical variations in total body irradiation (TBI) across Japan. A web-based questionnaire investigating technical aspects (irradiation method, in vivo dosimetry, organ shielding, and boluses) of TBI was distributed via the authors' acquaintances in each region of Japan using snowball sampling, and 73 institutions responded. The data were collected from January to April 2024.

Background: Some institutions have implemented rapid MRI protocols for acute musculoskeletal (MSK) infections as an attempt to improve early diagnosis.
Objective: To assess current utilization of pediatric rapid MSK MRI protocols (abbreviated protocol, no IV (intravenous) contrast, and no sedation) using a survey.
Materials And Methods: A 10-question survey was sent to members of the Society for Pediatric Radiology (SPR) and the Society of Skeletal Radiology, which differed depending on whether a rapid protocol was used or not.

Background: Atezolizumab plus bevacizumab is recommended as a first-line treatment for unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (uHCC). A subgroup analysis of the IMbrave150 trial showed shorter overall survival (OS) in uHCC patients with stable disease (SD) than patients with complete response (CR) or partial response (PR) after atezolizumab plus bevacizumab. Improving OS in patients with SD is an unmet medical need.

The purpose of this study, as a pilot for educational support and improvement in imaging techniques, is to quantitatively elucidate the relationship between the imaging procedure and the delineation of the greater pectoral muscle in the mediolateral oblique view using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). A questionnaire survey was conducted with six radiological technologists with more than 10 years of clinical experience in mammography examinations.

Osteoporosis is prevalent among older adults, significantly increasing fracture risk, with hip fractures often leading to reduced survival. Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) is the gold standard for diagnosing osteoporosis. However, manual transcription of DEXA results into radiology reports is error-prone and time-consuming.
