Purpose: Pituitary adenomas, despite their histologically benign nature, can severely impact patients' quality of life due to hormone hypersecretion. Invasion of the medial wall of the cavernous sinus (MWCS) by these tumors complicates surgical outcomes, lowering biochemical remission rates and increasing recurrence. This study aims to share our institutional experience with the selective resection of the MWCS in endoscopic pituitary surgery.

Non-invasive estimation of pressure differences using 2D synthetic aperture ultrasound imaging offers a precise, low-cost, and risk-free diagnostic tool. Unlike invasive techniques, this preserves natural blood flow and avoids the limitations of devices that occupy lumen space. This paper evaluates a previously published estimator, modified to incorporate Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) echo-cancellation, using data from ten healthy volunteers and one patient.

: Cerebral intra-arterial chemotherapy (CIAC) has been demonstrated to achieve tumoricidal concentrations in cerebral tumour cells that are otherwise unachievable due to the presence of the blood-brain barrier. In this study, we sought to analyze the safety of CIAC in a cohort of patients treated at the Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux de l'Estrie-Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke (CIUSSS-CHUS). : Treatments consisted of monthly CIAC.

Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin disorder characterized by central facial redness, papulopustular lesions, and occasionally phymatous changes. There is ongoing debate regarding rosacea as a cutaneous disease with systemic inflammatory effects and its associations with cardiovascular diseases. Although the pathogenesis of both atherosclerosis and rosacea demonstrate notable similarities, particularly in the central role of inflammation, significant gaps in understanding these connections remain.

Background/objectives: Motor deficits following neonatal brain injury, from cerebral palsy to subtle deficits in motor planning, are common yet underreported. Rodent models of motor deficits in neonatal hypoxia-ischemia (HI) allow improved understanding of the underlying mechanisms and neuroprotective strategies. Our goal was to test motor performance and learning in a mouse model of neonatal HI.
