Computer-guided full-arch dental rehabilitation, which is highly technique-sensitive, benefits from advancements in 3-dimensional-printed guides and open-source software. Critical pre-surgical planning includes patient selection, health history evaluations, and detailed imaging like cone beam computed tomography scans. Various surgical guides-freehand, static, dynamic, stackable, and interchangeable-are used based on case complexity, with stackable guides improving workflow efficiency.

Background: The mechanism by which combined oral contraceptives (COCs) lead to hypercoagulation is not fully understood, although activated protein C (APC) pathway resistance has been implicated. APC and thrombomodulin (TM) tend to be considered as interchangeable reagents, even though their biological action in coagulation is different. However, it remains unclear which reagent is better suited for the detection of APC pathway resistance.

Purpose: We aimed to assess differences among older patients demonstrating low STS performance in the 30 s-STS and/or the 5r-STS.
Methods: 30 s-STS and 5r-STS were used to assess lower limb muscle strength and function in older adults. Analysis involved 376 patients (≥ 65 years) from a geriatric outpatient clinic for fall assessment.

Objective: This study aimed to correlate the bite/occlusal force measurements obtained through two methods: a hydraulic pressure gauge with a biting transducer (GM-10), and a computer-assisted device that records occlusal force on a pressure-sensitive film (Prescale II).
Methods: Healthy, dentate volunteers were recruited. Participants' demographic data included age, sex, number of teeth present, presence of oral pain, history of prior orthodontic treatment and presence of parafunction.
