Adsorptive CH/CH separation using metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) has emerged as a promising technology for the removal of CH (acetylene) impurity (1 %) from CH (ethylene). The practical application of these materials involves the optimization of separation performance as well as development of scalable and green production protocols. Herein, we report the efficient CH/CH separation in a MOF, Cu(OH)INA (INA: isonicotinate) which achieves a record CH packing density of 351 mg cm at 0.

The present article describes the synthesis of an isonicotinate-derived -arylporphyrin, that has been fully characterized by spectroscopic methods (including fluorescence spectroscopy), as well as elemental analysis and HR-MS. The structure of an -hexane monosolvate has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The radical scavenging activity of this new porphyrin against the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical has been measured.

They are isomorphic and characterized by a three-dimensional (3-D) framework structure. The lanthanide ions are bound by eight oxygen atoms to exhibit a square antiprismatic geometry.

Isoniazid is a key drug in the chemotherapy of tuberculosis (TB), however, interindividual variability in pharmacokinetic parameters and drug plasma levels may affect drug responses including drug induced hepatotoxicity. The current study investigated the relationships between isoniazid exposure and isoniazid metabolism-related genetic factors in the context of occurrence of drug induced hepatotoxicity and TB treatment outcomes. Demographic characteristics and clinical information were collected in a prospective TB cohort study in Latvia ( = 34).

Olfactory systems are indispensable for insects as they, including Western Flower Thrips (), use olfactory cues for ovipositing and feeding. use odorant binding proteins (OBPs) to transport semiochemicals to odorant receptors to induce a behavioural response from the sensillum lymph of the insect's antennae. This study identifies four OBPs of and analyses their expression at three stages of growth: larvae, adult males and adult females.
