The rising incidence of pancreatic diseases, including acute and chronic pancreatitis and various pancreatic neoplasms, poses a significant global health challenge. Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) for example, has a high mortality rate due to late-stage diagnosis and its inaccessible location. Advances in imaging technologies, though improving diagnostic capabilities, still necessitate biopsy confirmation.

The slope aspect is an important environmental factor, which can indirectly change the acceptable solar radiation of forests. However, the mechanism of how this aspect changes the underground ecosystem and thus affects the growth of aboveground trees is not clear. In this study, Pinus yunnanensis plantation was taken as the research object, and the effects of soil and microbial characteristics on tree growth under different slope aspects and soil depths were systematically analyzed.

The L2 Motivational Self System (L2MSS) determines an individual's motivation in second language learning and influences the learning experience and intended effort. Although physical activity (PA) has been shown to enhance academic efficacy, the role of PA in whether it promotes second language learning efficacy has not been elucidated. Therefore, the present study examined PA as a mediator and explored its ameliorative effects in L2MSS.
