Feeding disruption is closely linked to numerous diseases, yet the underlying molecular mechanisms remain an important but unresolved issue at the molecular level. We hypothesize that, at the network level, dietary disruptions can alter gene co-expression patterns, leading to an increase in disease-associated modules, and thereby elevating the likelihood of disease occurrence. Here, we investigate this hypothesis using transcriptomic data from a large cohort of adult mice subjected to feeding disruptions.

Epilepsy is a common neurological disease characterized by distinct pathological changes in the epileptogenic zone. Antiseizure drugs (ASDs) are widely used as the primary treatment for epilepsy. To improve the efficiency of ASDs medication, stimuli-responsive nanoscale drug delivery systems (nanoDDSs), triggered by either endogenous or exogenous factors, have been developed and been considered as a noninvasive and spatial-temporal approach to epilepsy theranostics.

The understanding of neuroimmune function has evolved from concepts of immune privilege and protection to a new stage of immune interaction. The discovery of skull meninges channels (SMCs) has opened new avenues for understanding central nervous system (CNS) immunity. Here, we characterize skull bone marrow and SMCs by detailing the anatomical structures adjacent to the skull, the differences between skull and peripheral bone marrow, mainstream animal processing methods, and the role of skull bone marrow in monitoring various CNS diseases.

Cryopreservation, the use of very low temperatures to preserve structurally intact living cells and tissues, has seen exponential growth in the field of fertilization (IVF). In the last decade, cryopreservation of embryos and freeze-all protocols have become an essential aspect and a prerequisite for a successful IVF outcome. Moreover, vitrification, which is a fast and safe cryopreservation method, has proved to be an effective choice for cryopreserving gametes and embryos.

Background: Routinely separating the ligamentum teres uteri (LTU) intraoperatively remains an unresolved issue for female children undergoing surgery for indirect inguinal hernia (IIH).
Aim: To identify the effect of LTU preservation in laparoscopic high hernia sac ligation (LHSL) in children with IIH.
Methods: The participants were 100 female children with unilateral IIH admitted from April 2022 to January 2024 to the Pediatric Surgery Department of Zhangzhou Municipal Hospital of Fujian Province.
